FOREHEAD

image2.jpeg

Botulinum toxin is used to create a beautiful smooth forehead and help to prevent further wrinkles occurring in the future. If you already have deep wrinkles which are present at rest , after a year or so of this treatment these wrinkles will soften out enormously and often disappear. If you only have mild ones,  they will disappear following the first treatment and if you keep it up they will not come back.

Horizontal lines on the forehead are treated by multiple small and virtually painless injections across the forehead. Although you will see results after a day or so, it takes up to a week for the muscles to be fully weakened. During that time you may have  uneven results on either side. Usually the other side will catch up,  but if it does not we can easily address that on your review. Please note results vary according to your muscles and we cannot guarantee a totally movement free forehead.

Sometimes on some patients , treating the forehead can drop the eyebrows a little. I will try to predict this when we have our consultation and we can usually balance this by putting a little Botulinum Toxin under the brows to lift them.

We rarely treat the forehead alone as it is far better combined with the glabellar area between the eyebrows.

Do let me know anything you particularly like or dislike about the shape of your eyebrows as I can alter the shape. For example I can take out an arch, lift the ends or put in an arch.

Foreheads are a real art and I will always start cautiously and top you up if necessary at your review.

If we add in a brow lift, it does add a little to the price. See price list.

All treatments have associated risks and complications which will be discussed with you in detail at your medical consultation.  Any illnesses you have, medications you take  or previous problems with treatments will be taken into consideration. We want you to be totally informed, not rushed  and happy to go ahead before you have any treatments.
